Thomas Levoy WALLS

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Thomas Levoy Walls, age 68, was born December 4, 1937 and died October 19, 2006 at his residence following a brief illness.  A self-employed plumber and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Verse Roy and Nannie Louverna Adcock Walls.  He was married to Hester Higgins Walls of McMinnville.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas Darrell and Teresa Walls and Tony Dale Walls both of McMinnville;  five grandchildren, Brandon Shane, Thomas Montgomery, Ashley Cheyenne and Crystal Leanne Walls and Jessie Kennedy and mother, Dana Kennedy;  six sisters, Ellen Clayton of Gainesboro, TN, Rita Walls Kraynak, Cathy Walls and Verna Green all of Smithville, TN and Thelma Webb and Wanda Hollis both of McMinnville;  four brothers, Dan Walls and Phillip Walls both of Smithville, TN, Clarence Walls of Nashville, TN and Bobby Walls of Bloomington, DE and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 in High's Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Clayton officiating.  Burial followed in the Shellsford Cemetery.
