Virginia Ray WANAMAKER

McMinnville resident and Scottsville, Kentucky native Virginia Ray Wanamaker, age 87, was born March 31, 1919 and died June 1, 2006 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness.  A retired sitter and a member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Boobie and May Willmore Emberton.  She was married to Glenn Wanamaker who preceded her in death.  She is survived by one sister, Louise Cook of Scottsville, KY;  brother, Frank Emberton of Bradenton, Florida and several nieces and nephews.  A graveside service and interment was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN with Lane Dix officiating.
