Josie P. WARREN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Josie P. Warren, age 90, was born October 5, 1916 and died December 19, 2006 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness.  A homemaker and a member of the East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Mollie Martin McGregor.  She was married May 7, 1937 to William Edward Warren who preceded her in death March 22, 1986.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Sonny Warren.  She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Melba and the late Charles McBride of Tullahoma, TN, Janis and Jimmy Mason of Quebeck, TN, and Kay and Richard Hobbs and Queita and Sonny Roberts both of McMinnville;  eleven grandchildren, Pam Hodge of Tullahoma, TN, Debbie Ragan of Missouri, Melanie Holt of Tullahoma, TN, Byron Mason of Gallatin, TN, Janet Kirby of Sparta, TN, Barry Mason of Walling, TN, Charles Richard "Ricky" Hobbs, Jr. of McMinnville, Christopher Wayne Hobbs of McMinnville, Marshall E. "Mark" Anderson, Jr. of Kentucky, Heather LeAnn Desmarais of McMinnville and Sharon Kelly of McMinnville;  twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild;  two sisters, Lena Headrick of Chattanooga, TN and Anna Mae McBride of Ohio;  sister-in-law, Louise Bouldin of McMinnville and brother-in-law, G.C. Warren of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2006 in High's Chapel with Wayne Cantrell officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
