McMinnville resident and Madison County, Alabama native Buford Wilson Webster, age 82, was born September 28, 1923 and died May 7, 2006 at the Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. The retired owner of McMinnville Radiator Shop, a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII, and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Alvin Jesse and Annie Womack Webster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. He was married to Bertha Pauline Adkins Webster of McMinnville who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Barbara Jean Fleisher of McMinnville; two sisters, Hazel Brewer of Big Spring, TX and Cora Crouch of Nashville, TN; half-sister, Linda of Texas; two brothers, Raymond Webster of Michigan, and Ellis Webster of Surfside Beach, SC; two half-brothers, J. Wilson Medley of Georgia and Bobby Medley of Tennessee and special friends, Paul and Carla Keener of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in High's Chapel with George Roberts officiating. Full military honors were administered by the American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Campground Cemetery in Big Cove, Alabama.
