Rock Island, TN resident and White County, TN native Faye Jacqueline Whitworth, age 79, was born April 13, 1926 and died February 17, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a four month illness. A retired employee of the Wagoner Corporation and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lucious Earl and Effie Hale Moody. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Luke and Leonard Moody and sister, Earlene Bishop. She was married to E.L. Whitworth of the Laurelburg Community June 5, 1943. In addition to her husband she is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Deamie Moody of the Laurelburg Community and Charles and Jimmie Moody of Pikeville, TN; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Deltrice Howard, Barbara Shockley, and Virginia and Johnny Baker all of Spencer, TN; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jenny Hillis, Lillie Smith, Mae Gibbs, Lorena Snider, Joyce Glover, Joe Whitworth, Bennie Whitworth, and David Bishop. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2006 in High's Chapel with Titus Ward officiating. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
