Martin Pete WILSON

McMinnville resident and Overton County, TN native Martin "Pete" Wilson, age 79, was born July 18, 1926 and died January 27, 2006 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville.  A former employee of McMinnville Manufacturing Company and Burroughs-Ross-Colville Lumber Co. and retiree of Cumberland Lumber Co., he was a member of the Madison Street Baptist Church.  He was the son of the late Richard Houston and Maudie Bell Bilbrey Wilson.  He is survived by three sisters, Thula Wilson Kilgore, Delcie West, and Betty Boyd all of McMinnville;  two brothers, William Wilson and Gene Wilson both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2006 in High's Chapel with Carl Smith and Donald Owens officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
