Luna Mae BARRETT

McMinnville resident and Neshoba County, MS native Luna Mae Barrett, age 93, was born November 9, 1913 and died June 23, 2007 at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, TN following a brief illness. She was a homemaker and the daughter of the late William and Lela Stevens Ladd. She was married to Thurman Odell Barrett who preceded her in death in 1988. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Lamar, Roger, and Paul Barrett and one daughter, Louise Barrett. She is survived by four children, Bill Barrett of Weatherford, TX, Jane Sparks of Boyd, TX, Billy Barrett of Azle, TX and Delmar Barrett of Mississippi; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Dunn of Mississippi and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at McClain-Hays funeral home in Philadelphia, MS. Burial followed in the Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, MS.
