Willie Alton BOST

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Willie Alton Bost, age 83, was born April 4, 1924 and died November 15, 2007 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A lumber grader at McMinnville Manufacturing Company and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Roy and Mary Lou Roller Bost. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Bost and Lida Mae Couch and three brothers, John Roy, Julius and Clarence Bost. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Becky Bost of McMinnville, Jerry and Phyllis Bost of Pulaski, TN and Terry Bost of McMinnville; four grandchildren and one grandson-in-law, Christopher, Jason and Brandon Bost and Pennie and Matt Colvard; two great-grandchildren, Ella Grace and Rebecca Claire Colvard; three sisters, Evelyn McCormick and Aline West both of McMinnville and Imogene Hamby of Texas and brother, Marshall Bost of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in High's Chapel with Paul Roberts and Dale Randolph officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery.
