Rocky River Community resident and Van Buren County, TN native Roy Willard Bouldin, age 88, was born September 23, 1918 and died February 21, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a six-month illness. A miner and logger and a member of the White Hill Church of Christ, he was the son of the late M.C. "Lum" and Josephine Payne Bouldin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lucy Bouldin and an infant sister; granddaughter, Anna Mai Clemons; great-granddaughter, Allie Stinson and son-in-law, Lavoy Grove. He was married December 11, 1936 to Martha Ann Roberts Bouldin of the Rocky River Community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Jewell and Doran Thomison of the Rocky River Community, Bernice Grove of McMinnville, Evie and Dawson Campbell of Morrison and Avie and Leonard Clemons of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Sidney Grove and Teresa Stinson both of McMinnville and Bert Woodham, Stefanie McColloch and Sonia Vandagriff all of Viola, TN; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Grove, Ryan and Haley McColloch, Ashley and Leah Vandagriff and Alex Stinson and one sister, Leal Johnson of Brockdale, TN. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007 in High's Chapel with John Leonetti, Dawson Campbell and Leonard Clemons officiating. Burial followed in the White Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
