Floyd Winton BOULDIN

Rock Island, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Floyd Winton Bouldin, age 77, was born August 2, 1929 and died July 2, 2007 at his residence following a brief illness. He was a retired employee of Alcoa Aluminum in Lafayette, IN and after retirement was employed by Custom Construction in McMinnville and Warren County, TN Sheriff's Department. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was a member of the Romney Masonic Lodge #441 in Romney, IN. He was the son of the late Claude and Annie Martin Bouldin and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Teriron, Alton, and Lloyd Bouldin and two sisters, Claudia Widner and Kathleen Templeton. He was married December 23, 1949 to Mary Helen Bouldin of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children and their spouses, Alma Lee and Carl Shoemaker of Rock Island, TN, Phyllis and Dennis Parks of Lafayette, IN, Floyd "Bud" and Mary Bouldin of McMinnville and Mary Ann and Tim Schaper of Yorkville, IL; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Willie Barnes of McMinnville, Gloria and Carl Downham of Dayton, IN and Mary Elizabeth and Robert Graham of Lafayette, IN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2007 in High's Chapel with Ray Weddington and Titus Ward officiating. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN with full military honors administered by the American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064. A Masonic service was held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in High's parlors. Memorial contributions may be made to the .
