Donald Duck Edward BOYD

Morrison, TN resident and Bledsoe County, TN native Donald "Duck" Edward Boyd, age 57, was born May 6, 1949 and died April 18, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. A disabled employee of APAC and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Paul Henry and Alice Roberta Christian Boyd. He was married to his wife of thirty-five years, Jo Rhea Boyd of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald "Duckie" Paul Boyd of Morrison, TN; three grandchildren, Austin Baily Boyd of Tullahoma, TN and Destiny Angel Faith George and Heaven Leigh Hope George both of McMinnville; sister, Marilyn Haston of Morrison, TN; friend, Danny Mullican of McMinnville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Lucille Boyd and Keith Boyd both of McMinnville and Bruce and Babs Boyd of the Irving College Community; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007 in High's Chapel with Damon Woodlee officiating. Burial followed in the Bascom Cemetery.
