Roy Winfred CHAMBERS

Rock Island, TN resident and Cumberland County, TN native Roy Winfred Chambers, age 62, was born March 22, 1945 and died November 4, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a two-week illness. A retired custodian with High Funeral Home, he was the son of Clarence Chambers of Crossville, TN and the late Lora Ella Brown Chambers. He was married to Wanda Sue Hutchings Chambers of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two children, Denise Ann Chambers of Rock Island, TN and Thomas Chambers of Sparta, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Kathy Chambers of Sparta, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Dallas Davis of Sparta ,TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2007 in High's Chapel with Sam Davis and Carl Seibers officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in White County, TN.
