Lonnie F. CLEMONS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lonnie F. Clemons, age 69, was born June 4, 1938 and died November 22, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A truck driver and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Essie Clemons Bouldin of McMinnville and the late Eskel Clemons. He was married October 31, 1979 to Christine Young Clemons of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children and one daughter-in-law, Sherry Todd, Stephen and Phyllis Smith Clemons and Barbara Madewell all of McMinnville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; aunt, Ruby Curtis of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Minnie Medley of McMinnville and several cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2007 in High's Chapel with Pokie George and Kenneth W. Kirby officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
