Thelma Faye COOK

McMinnville resident and Jasper, TN native Thelma Faye Cook, age 60, was born December 21, 1946 and died October 2, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Edna Pitman Tanner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Stanga and Emma Tanner and two brothers, Bo and Sam Tanner. She was married June 30, 1998 to Milton Eugene Cook of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one sister, Betty Millraney of McMinnville; brother, Sherman Tanner of Jasper, TN; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. She was a good woman and a loving wife. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 in High's Chapel with E.A. Colvin officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery on Hwy. 30.
