Laura Josephine CURTIS

McMinnville resident and Madison County, AL native Laura Josephine Curtis, age 84, was born September 4, 1922 and died June 16, 2007 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A sitter and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Georgie Woods Ferrell. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Hackett Lee Lance and Louise and Cecil Pelham both of McMinnville and Carlon and Ramona Curtis of Quebeck, TN; three grandchildren, Jennie Pelham, Steven Pelham and Laura Fulton all of McMinnville; three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and husband, Charles Curtis of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery @ Bluff Springs.
