Mary Frances DAVIDSON

McMinnville resident and Jackson County, TN native Mary Frances Davidson, age 79, was born September 6, 1928 and died November 4, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lattie and Pearl Whiteaker Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Willene Johnson and Virginia Dare Johnson. She was married September 3, 1946 to Doyle P. Davidson of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Patsy Davidson of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sandra Davidson of Smyrna, TN; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert Johnson of Clearwater, FL; three sisters, Lorea Brown of Gainesboro, TN, Beatrice Spurlock of Kissimmee, FL and Joyce Mayberry of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Pharris Cemetery in Jackson County, TN.
