SR., Robert Morris DINWIDDIE

McMinnville resident and Allen County, KY native Robert Morris Dinwiddie, Sr., age 72, was born March 13, 1935 and died May 8, 2007 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN following an extended illness. A pharmacist at City Drug Store and a member of the First United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Willie Ray and Dema Ray Dinwiddie. He was married May 3, 1958 to Anna Mary Walsh of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and their spouses, Paula Ann Dinwiddie of Alexandria, VA, Mark James and Teresa Dinwiddie of McMinnville and Robert Morris and Leigh Dinwiddie, Jr. also of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Lillian Ann and John Robert Dinwiddie both of Morrison, TN; step-great-grandson, Devin James Knox of McMinnville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Dennis Meeks of Sewanee, TN and Carol and Wayne Calvert of Nashville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and Donna Dinwiddie of Scottsville, KY; two step-grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2007 in High's Chapel with Steve Angus and Dick Scott Welch officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
