Willie Gene DRIVER

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Willie Gene Driver, age 64, was born May 5, 1943 and died September 17, 2007 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. An employee of Burroughs-Ross-Colville Company and a member of the West End Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Will and Nettie Driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Macon, Jimmie and W.M. Driver and sisters and brother-in-law, Bessie Driver and Herman and Judy Driver Anderson. He is survived by special friends, Marie Taylor and family of McMinnville and several nieces, nephews, and cousins of Smithville, TN and McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2007 in High's Chapel with Pastor Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery @ Bluff Springs.
