Ina Lee EMBRY

McMinnville resident Ina Lee Embry, age 87, was born August 24, 1919 and died March 19, 2007 at Ft. Sanders NHC Healthcare in Knoxville, TN following a short illness. A retired employee of Rockford Textiles and a member of the Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John Milton and Mattie Mae Neal Hodge. She was married June 5, 1943 to James "Jim" E. Embry who preceded her in death January 12, 1994. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Lester, and Austin Hodge and two sisters, Clara Mae Cantrell and Bessie Lou Brock. She is survived by one daughter, Kay Elliott of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, Jeffery Elliott, Katherine Steed, and Suzanne Elliott all of Knoxville, TN; great-grandson, Jack Steed of Knoxville, TN and nieces, Betty Jo Womack and Frances Garrison both of McMinnville. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Riverside Cemetery with Nestor Stewart officiating.
