Fay GOFF

McMinnville resident and Bledsoe County, TN native Fay Goff, age 63, was born December 4, 1943 and died May 7, 2007 at her residence following a five-month illness. A retired employee of a shirt manufacturer and a member of the New Hope Full Gospel Church, she was the daughter of the late J.L. and Verena Mae Walling Bickford. She was married to William Jackson Goff, Sr. who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Jackson Goff, Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Haycox of McMinnville; son, Wendell Bruce Goff of Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Michaela Haycox of McMinnville and Jaime Meister of Grand Rapids, MI; two brothers, James Walter Bickford of Michigan and Johnny Bickford of Cookeville, TN and two sisters, Helen Ladd and Brenda Britt both of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in High's Chapel with Terry Grissom officiating. Burial followed in the Walling Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
