Myra Elizabeth GRIBBLE

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Myra Elizabeth Gribble, age 93, was born October 12,1913 and died February 27, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a short illness. A retired clerk at the Tennessee Department of Human Services and a member of Friendship The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Denton and Permelia Safley Grissom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Velma Haston and Mary Rowland and two brothers, P.D. and Thomas C. Grissom. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David T. and Linda Gribble of Hermitage, TN, Joe G. and Faye Gribble of McMinnville and Phillip L. and June Gribble of Rock Island, TN; three grandchildren, Phyllis Kamacho and Mike Gribble both of Nashville, TN and Tamera Cripps of McMinnville; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Hassie M. Grissom of Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial followed in the Mt.
