Bobbye Jean Jacobs GRISSOM

Morrison, TN resident and Summitville, TN native Bobbye Jean Jacobs Grissom, age 76, was born July 6, 1930 and died April 22, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A homemaker and a member of the Rockliff Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ross Frizzell and Ida Jeretha Roberts Jacobs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Howard Grissom and three brothers, Ross, James, and John Jacobs. She was married August 9, 1953 to "Buck" Grissom of Morrison, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Janis Grissom and Joe and Wendy Grissom both of Morrison, TN; two grandchildren, Coty Grissom and Taylor Grissom; daughter-in-law, Belinda Grissom Hash of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Nan Jacobs of Summitville, TN; three sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Jo Brown of Summitville, TN, Reba Sue and George Lefevers of Mt. Juliet, TN and Wilma Rogers McAfee of Morrison, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in High's Chapel with Terry Townsend officiating. Burial followed in the Bascom Cemetery.
