Louie Marie Roberts GRISSOM

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Louie Marie Roberts Grissom, age 88, was born August 5, 1918 and died June 24, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. The retired owner of Grissom's Fabric, a homemaker, and a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Daisy Smartt Roberts. She was married in June of 1939 to Willard Andrew "Wood" Grissom who preceded her in death February 19, 2003. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Leah Grissom; two brother, and five sisters. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Bennie Kay and Charles E. Long of Beersheba Springs, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Martha Grissom of McMinnville; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 26, 2007 in High's Chapel with Ernest Laws officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
