Ora Lee HALCOMB

Tullahoma, TN resident and Hollywood, GA native Ora Lee Halcomb, age 86, was born September 6, 1920 and died February 25, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Tullahoma, TN, she was the daughter of the late Cornel B. and Ethel Franklin Shirley. She was married January 30, 1946 to Terry S. Halcomb who preceded her in death December 7, 1994. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Ann Halcomb of Rock Island, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Robert Jolley of Chattanooga, TN; grandsons, Adam Jolley of Carrollton, GA, Daniel and Krista Jolley of Chattanooga, TN, and Scott and Denise Halcomb of Harrington, DE; granddaughter, Amy Halcomb of Murfreesboro, TN; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Aileen Halcomb of Huntsville, AL and Jean Halcomb of Tullahoma, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Tullahoma, TN with Rev. Herbert Hester officiating. Burial followed in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to , , or your favorite charity.
