Emogene HARVEY

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County, TN native Emogene Harvey, age 77, was born May 19, 1930 and died November 8, 2007 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A retired employee of Genesco and McMinnville Garment Company and a member of the Smartt Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Willie Lee and Linnie Hillis Groves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Haskel, Clyde and Leo Groves and a special niece Peggy Groves Copeland. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Dale Bryant of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Charles Walter Bryant, Nicholas Bryant and Katie Bryant all of Chattanooga, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Nellie and James Thomison of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Oscar and Daisy Groves of McMinnville; niece and her husband, Judy and Robert Kelsey of McMinnville; great niece, Valerie Wells of Cookeville, TN and great-nephew Regan Kelsey of McMinnville. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007 at White Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
