Murfreesboro, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Robert Lee Haston, age 87, was born September 11, 1919 and died February 24, 2007 at Adam's Place Long Term Care in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of the Tennessee Department of Job Security, a United States Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Kingwood Heights Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Maggie Mitchell Haston, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Bill and J.M. Haston. He was married November 26, 1947 to Juanita Bouldin Haston of Murfreesboro, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Angie Haston of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Amanda Leigh (Gary) Smith of Murfreesboro, TN and Robert Andrew Haston of Brentwood, TN; great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Jones of Murfreesboro, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Charles Wilson of Oak Ridge, TN; sister-in-law, Eleese Griffith Haston of Sparta, TN and two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2007 in High's Chapel with Marion West, Tony Holt, Ed Myers and Larry Boyd officiating.
