James Alton HILDRETH

Green Hill Community resident and Warren County native James Alton Hildreth, age 74, was born August 16, 1933 and died November 21, 2007 at DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville, TN following an extended illness. A self-employed farmer and a member of the Green Hill Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Clarence Charles and Roberta Cope Hildreth. He was married May 14, 1954 to Nan Flanders Hildreth of the Green Hill Community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey and Gwen Hildreth, Garry Hildreth and Danny and Ann Hildreth all of the Green Hill Community; grandchildren and grandson-in-law, Lesley and Jon Neale, Abby Hildreth, Eric Hildreth and Hayden and Corbin Hildreth; sister, Eva Inglis of the Lucky Community and nieces, Betty Merriman and Patsy Inglis. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2007 in High's Chapel with Homer Galyan officiating. Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery @ Bluff Springs.
