McMinnville resident and Warren County native Clayton Lewis Holt, age 59, was born June 30, 1948 and died October 10, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A self-employed, contract nursery worker and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late James David and Ida Elizabeth Morton Holt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, W.D., James Allen and Clarence Daniel Holt. He is survived by three children and one son-in-law, Chrystal and Adam Taylor, Amanda Taylor and Clayton Holt, Jr. all of Andrews, NC; children's mother, Frances Griffith of Andrews, NC; eight grandchildren, Zachary Holt, Dilon Brown, Tori Taylor, Niki Taylor, Raymond Holt, Krystan Holt, Joshua Holt and Kayleigh Holt; brother and sister-in-law, Morris D. and Wanda Holt of McMinnville; six sisters and brother-in-law, Inez Burch, Galuia and Clayton Neal, Aradell Jones, Louise Duggin and Evelyn Roark all of McMinnville and Ponzell Ursery of Doyle, TN and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2007 at Faulkner's Cemetery at Pike Hill.
