Mary Wallene HOLT

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County, TN native Mary Wallene Holt, age 75, was born March 19, 1932 and died March 28, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a lingering illness. She was retired, a member of the Baptist Church and the daughter of the late Will and Callie Watson Yates. She was married to James Holt who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Yates. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Hugh Turner of McMinnville; grandson and his wife, Jeffery A. and Sara Turner of McMinnville; granddaughter and her husband, Chrystal and Tommy Myers of McMinnville; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Yates of Rock Island, TN; niece, Venita Hosse of Rock Island, TN and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 in High's Chapel with Dennis Deweese officiating. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
