James William Hunter

McMinnville resident and Warren County native James William Hunter, age 64, was born October 23, 1942 and died February 28, 2007 at his residence following a six-month illness. A sales manager for an equipment manufacturer, a United States Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Methodist Church, he was the son of the late James Hillis and Ladye Gillock Hunter. He was married October 12, 1973 to Martha C. Durham of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Rachel and Greg Brashear of Murfreesboro, TN and Paige Hunter of McMinnville; step-son, Kirk Webb of Lebanon, TN; sister, Ladye Jane Hunter of McMinnville and two nieces, Ladye Lee Martin of Hawaii and Karen Martin of Murfreesboro, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 at Mt. View Cemetery with Bob Case and Mark Carrigan officiating.
