Pearl Pauline Tallent HUTCHINGS

McMinnville resident and Anderson County, TN native Pearl Pauline Tallent Hutchings, age 78, was born April 7, 1929 and died December 13, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of Newtown The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Charlcie Smith Hawkins. She was married first to Odie Brown Tallent who preceded her in death in 1972 and married second to Floyd William Hutchings who preceded her in death in 1993. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Brenda Carol Tallent, Mary Katherine Tallent and Charlcie Faye "Sissy" Burton. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Shirley Layman, Peggy Joyce and Roy McCormick, Sandy and Webb Luna and Randy Kirk and Diana Hutchings all of McMinnville, Odie Harrison and Patricia Tallent of Smithville, TN, Sheila Rogers of Franklin, TN and Karen Bogard of Kingsport, TN; four step-sons, Don, Randy and Terry Hutchings all of McMinnville and Joe Hutchings of Wichita, KS; four step-daughters, Virginia Brady of McMinnville, Ruth Pinegar of Manchester, TN and Deyon Veasy and Bobbie Jean Youtzy both of Kansas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother, J.B. Carden of the Jacksboro, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2007 in High's Chapel with Johnny Adcock officiating. Burial followed in the Old Bybee Cemetery.
