Elizabeth Comer HUVAR

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Elizabeth Comer Huvar, age 84, was born July 30, 1922 and died March 9, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. A self-employed beautician and a member of the Bascom Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Joe Martin and Zela Irene Myers Comer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, David Ballew; two sisters, Winnie Fay Marcrom and Lois Schricengost and two brothers, Newell and James Comer. She was married to Norbert Leo Huvar of Morrison, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sisters, Jo Ann Jones of Manchester, TN, Mary Edith Vincent of Houston, TX, Carolyn Womack of Morrison, TN and Gladys Dickinson of Texas City, TX; brother, Harry Cole Comer of Manchester, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 in High's Chapel with Shelby P. Newman officiating. Burial followed in the Bascom Cemetery.
