Betty Jo Travis JORDAN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Betty Jo Travis Jordan, age 74, was born October 7, 1932 and died March 2, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. An employee of Goody's and a member of the Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late B.F. and Jessie Mae Gilley Travis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Timothy Lee Jordan; brother, Derrick Fane Travis and daughter-in-law, Joann Tanner Jordan. She is survived by one son, Charles Randy Jordan of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Chris Jordan and wife, Shellie and Curtis Jordan both of McMinnville; four great-grandchildren, Kaylan Jordan, Destiny Jordan, Alexis Whitaker and Lakelynn Whiteaker; two sisters and brother-in-law, Gail Elaine Travis and Gloria and Dean Young both of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Evelyn Travis of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 in High's Chapel with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Bethany Cemetery.
