Cory Lynn JUDKINS

McMinnville resident and Rutherford County, TN native Cory Lynn Judkins, age 28, was born December 3, 1978 and died November 1, 2007 at his residence following a sudden illness. A sales clerk at Sears and a member of the Madison Street Baptist Church, he was the son of Larry and Phyllis Smith Judkins of McMinnville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Christine Smith and paternal grandfather, Nelson Judkins. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Abigail Judkins of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, John Kelly and Jaime Judkins of McMinnville; nieces, Ashlyn and Adison Judkins of McMinnville; maternal grandfather, Rev. Carl Smith of McMinnville; paternal grandmother, Lounette Judkins of McMinnville and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Madison Street Baptist Church with Jackie Matheny, Bobby Southard and Alton Scruggs officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
