Mary Frances KENNEDY

McMinnville resident and Rossville, GA native Mary Frances Kennedy, age 78, was born November 6, 1928 and died October 25, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Emanuel Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Robert Bransford and Mary Elizabeth McCormack Carter. She was married to Morgan Kennedy who preceded her in death June 6, 1967. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Carter. She is survived by five sons, James William Mills of Dunlap, TN, John Robert Gangel of California, Michael David Kennedy and Mark Kennedy both of McMinnville and Matthew Dean Kennedy of Morrison, TN; two daughters, Rebecca Ellen Porter of Nevada and Maureen Dale Turner of McMinnville; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held Saturday, October 27, 2007 in High's Chapel with Bobby Wines officiating. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
