Jewel Rickey KNOWLES

Smartt Station, TN resident and Hammond, IN native Jewel Rickey Knowles, age 49, was born May 24, 1957 and died May 13, 2007 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A maintenance worker at Morrison Tool and Fab and a member of the Calvary Worship Center, he was the son of Barbara Nell Elms Knowles of Smartt Station, TN and the late Jewel D. Knowles. He was married July 3, 1976 to Sherry A. Ragan Knowles of Smartt Station, TN. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rickey Allan and Jessica Knowles of Morrison, TN; daughter, Nikki Knowles of Morrison, TN; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Nancy Knowles of McMinnville, Randy and Teri Knowles of Lake Village, IN and Shane and Emily Knowles of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Chyanne, Mason and Ethan Jase and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007 in High's Chapel with David Snowden officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
