Christine LEFEVERS

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Christine Lefevers, age 85, was born June 22, 1922 and died September 5, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. A seamstress and homemaker and a member of the Shady Grove Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late H.J. and Sarah Walker Stanley. She was married April 2, 1938 to William "Bill" Lefevers who preceded her in death February 10, 2007. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Bobby Lefevers, Jr. and John David Lefevers, Jr.; two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dora and Lawayne Cooper of the Midway Community and Carol and Stanley Poe of McMinnville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Toni Lefevers of the Shady Grove Community and David and Judy Lefevers of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Essie Hillis of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 in High's Chapel with Vernon Joines and Richard Bowman officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
