Florene Herron LYNN

McMinnville resident and Putnam County, TN native Florene Herron Lynn, age 84, was born April 7, 1923 and died October 8, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a short illness. An employee of Magnetek and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Delma Gambrell Herron. She was married to Jessie Lee Lynn who preceded her in death June 21, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Doug, Carroll and Tommy Herron and three sisters, Audrey Dobbs, Mary Sue Seals and Oma Slatton. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Roger Milburn of McMinnville; three sons, Junior, Walter and Royce Lynn all of McMinnville; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007 in High's Chapel with Nestor Stewart officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
