McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Faye Lytle, age 63, was born May 21, 1943 and died February 16, 2007 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. A homemaker, an avid sports fan of all sports, and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Willie Mattie Winnett Rice of McMinnville and the late Roy Ray Rice. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Christian and Sue Jernigan and her first husband Thomas Roy Winfrey. She was married October 28, 1966 to George Lytle of McMinnville. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Jim and Sheila Winfrey, Judy and Ricky Fults, Jackey and Elizabeth Winfrey and Lisa Williams all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Wendy and Chad Cantrell, Calvin Fults, Jared Winfrey, Kiley and Katelynn Williams, Leanne Smith, Tiffany Haight and Kory and Troy Lytle all of McMinnville; great-granddaughter, Emily Cantrell of McMinnville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Barbara Rice of McMinnville, Harold and Betty Rice of Burgess Falls, TN, William and Cindy Rice of Tullahoma, TN and Charles Rice of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Diana Knutson of Tucson, AZ; special nephew, Troy Lytle and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2007 in High's Chapel with Billy Hawkins and Glyn Killian officiating. Burial followed in the Doyle Cemetery.
