Anthony Ray MADEWELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Anthony Ray Madewell, age 64, was born May 12, 1942 and died April 13, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A self-employed nurseryman and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Rilla Alma Madewell of McMinnville and the late Johnny L. Madewell. He was married to Marie Meeks Madewell who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Houston Madewell. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Victoria Madewell of McMinnville; son, Michael Madewell of McMinnville; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Agness Madewell, Wayne and Dean Madewell and Manuel and Sandra Madewell all of McMinnville, Mitchel and Magdalene Madewell and Daniel and Becky Hill both of Spencer, TN, Arling and Candy Eaton of LaVergne, TN and Larry and Lynn Eaton of Smithville, TN; three sisters, Barbara Hennessee of McMinnville, Juanita Hanner and Evelyn Rawson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2007 in High's Chapel with George Roberts and Roland Sharp officiating. Burial followed in the Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek.
