Patty Sue Martin was born on March 9, 1938 in McMinnville, TN to the union of Harrison and Frances Martin Bonner. She departed this life February 15, 2007 at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty (Favor) Bonner, Dorothy Biles and Martha Robertson and two brothers, Frank and Thomas (Tom) Bonner. She was married to the late Roosevelt Martin of McMinnville. Surviving are five children, Jeffrey (Treva), Bradford (Gwen), Rickey (Gail), Franklin and Tammy Martin all of McMinnville. She had fourteen grandchildren: Trevor, Courtney, Brittany, Benjamin, Bethany, Sumner, Tyler, Terrence, Candy, Aften, Brooke, Franklin, Jr., De'Arrius and Tameria and six great-grandchildren: Dylan, Lynlee, Khyva, Uriah, Elaisjah and Susej. She is survived by her sisters, Evelyn (E.B.) Malone and Lillie Hill both of McMinnville and Mary Elam of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Robert Bonner of McMinnville and Tarlton H. Martin of Dayton, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a member of the East End Drive Church of Christ. She was a retired case manager for the Tennessee Opportunity Programs, where she truly served and helped many individuals and families in the area and other counties. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in High's Chapel with Brother Phillip Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
