Tullahoma, TN resident and Warren County native Frank Houston McCormick, age 60, was born September 7, 1946 and died February 24, 2007 at Harton Regional Hospital in Tullahoma, TN following an extended illness. He was retired from AEDC Security after twenty-six years of service, a former employee of the McMinnville Police Department and a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. McCormick was the son of the late Levi and Bessie Wood McCormick and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Parker, George, Sammy, Gorden, Reece, and Fred McCormick and two sisters, Louise Keel and Myrtle Bush. He was married to Linda Kay Kamp McCormick of Tullahoma, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Kellie McCormick of Lavergne, TN; two step-daughters, Becky Fleming of Gallatin, TN and Tracie Hefner of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Jack Hefner of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Bill McCormick of Greensburg, PA and Roy McCormick of McMinnville, TN; sisters, Iva Dennis of Taylor, MI and Maxine Ware of Hermitage, TN and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2007 in High's Chapel with Rev. Martin Nutter officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
