Ruth Tatom MCCUNE

McMinnville resident and Geneva, AL native Ruth Tatom McCune, age 96, was born September 23, 1910 and died March 8, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. A school teacher in Palm Beach County, FL and a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Isaac I. and Anna Lee Chapman Tatom, Sr. She was married to Donald Charles McCune who preceded her in death January 5, 1980. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Michael. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Hugh Cline of McMinnville; two grandchildren and their spouses, Mark and Tammy Cline of Murfreesboro, TN and Steve and Jenny Cline of McMinnville; three great grandchildren, Cory Cline of Murfreesboro and Nicholas Cline and Nathaniel Willard both of McMinnville; sister, Nona Barton of Tequesta, FL and brother, Isaac I. Tatom, Jr. of Lake Worth, FL. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Lakeworth, FL with Lynn Batista officiating.
