Eddie Lou MORRIS

Former McMinnville resident for forty-two years and current Vidalia, GA resident and native Eddie Lou Morris, age 94, was born June 29, 1913 and died September 1, 2007 in Vidalia, GA following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Lugenia Blankenship Maddux. She was married to Grady Roscoe Morris who preceded her in death January 9, 2003. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Rose Hamilton. She is survived by two sons, Louis Morris of Vidalia, GA and Rodney Morris of Centerville, TN; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2007 in High's Chapel with Rev. Lanny Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
