Raymond Jackson NASH

McMinnville resident and Springfield, TN native Raymond Jackson Nash, age 73, was born August 21, 1933 and died March 19, 2007 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A heavy equipment operator with Warren County and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Virgil Jackson and Hattie Belle Robinson Nash. He was married June 3, 1975 to Anna Measels Nash of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Raymond Nash, Jr. and Randy Nash both of Hendersonville, TN and David Nash of Nashville, TN; daughter, Kathy; three step-sons, Tommy Dawson of Winchester, TN, Sammy Dawson of Jacksonville, FL and Ronald Dawson of Dickson, TN; step-daughter, Anna Dawson of Detroit, MI; brother, H.R. "Butch" Nash of Nashville, TN and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 in High's Chapel with George Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the New Union Cemetery.
