Billie Jean Haston NUNLEY

Viola, TN resident and Warren County native Billie Jean Haston Nunley, age 80, was born December 25, 1926 and died June 27, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired United States Postal Service employee and West Warren-Viola Utility District employee, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Gladys Wilcher Haston. She was married to Howard Nunley who preceded her in death February 13, 1975. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Carol Nunley, October 21, 2005. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. She is survived by daughter, Jimmie Jean Webber of Cookeville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Katrina Nunley of Morrison, TN; five grandsons, Josh Webber and wife Laura of Hixson, TN, Jesse Webber of Granada, Spain, James Webber and wife, Carmen of Gainsboro, TN and Ridge Nunley and Roth Nunley both of Morrison, TN and two great-granddaughters, Dixie Webber and Kathryn Webber. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2007 in High's Chapel with Bob Case and Bill Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
