Ravon OWENS

McMinnville resident and Cannon County, TN native Ravon Owens, age 67, was born April 30, 1939 and died January 1, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired lift truck operator at Burroughs-Ross-Colville Company and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Alvie and Daisy Patterson Owens. He was married May 2, 1958 to Mildred White Owens of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Eddie Owens and Tim Owens both of McMinnville; two daughters and son-in-law, Darlene and Phillip Rigsby and Kimberly Cantrell both of McMinnville; brother, Joe Owens of Murfreesboro, TN; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two special friends, Travis Whitehead and Ed Johnson. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2007 in High's Chapel with Ricky Hawkins officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
