Dunlap, TN resident and Warren County native Sally Pauline Oxsher, age 87, was born October 1, 1920 and died December 12, 2007 at NHC Healthcare in Dunlap, TN following an extended illness. A retired dietician at River Park Hospital and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late G.C. and Elizabeth Askew Newby. She was first married to Richard D. McGee who preceded her in death. She was married second to King David Oxsher, Sr. who also preceded her in death. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Roy D. McGee; two granddaughters, Lisa Richards and Denise Teeters; brother, Patterson Newby and sister, Edna Mabe. She is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Beatrice Ann Smith of Whitwell, TN, Linda and Frank Edens of Nashville, TN and Carolyn Haddock of McMinnville; son, Thomas McGee of McMinnville; step-sons, Jim McGee of Mt. Juliet, TN, Jerry Oxsher and Charles Oxsher both of Murfreesboro, TN and David Oxsher, Jr. of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Mae Wilcher of McMinnville and Irene Crownover of Kansas and brother, Austin Newby of Michigan. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 in High's Chapel with Tim Parish officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery.
