Clifton Osbon PATRICK

Grundy County, TN resident and Warren County native Clifton Osbon Patrick, age 84, was born June 17, 1923 and died November 29, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. A self-employed timber-worker and United States Army veteran, he was the son of the late William and Laura Slaughter Patrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Mullican; son-in-law, Willis Nunley; brothers, Marcus, Jesse and McCoy Patrick and sister, Nannie Harris. He was married August 28, 1945 to Helen Killian Patrick of Grundy County, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children and their spouses, Eric and Stella Patrick, Billy Mack Patrick, Tommie Sue Nunley, Flo and Ricky Wanamaker, Nelda and Bill Wanamaker and Vickie and Terry Powell all of McMinnville and Elton Patrick of Spencer, TN; daughter-in-law, Brenda Mullican of McMinnville; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2007 in High's Chapel with Ronnie Powell and Glynn Killian officiating. Burial followed in the Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN.
