Norma Helen Smith PENNINGTON

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Norma Helen Smith Pennington, age 74, was born April 26, 1933 and died June 30, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a short illness. A sewing machine operator at Levi Strauss and a member of the Gath Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Myrtle Patterson Smith. She was married to Claude Ray Pennington who preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Troy Lytle of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Latisha and Ronnie Kloosterman, Jessica Goethe, Logan Hollandsworth and Troy and Kory Lytle all of McMinnville; great grandchild, Jordan Chase Kloosterman of McMinnville; two brothers, John Smith of Indiana and Fred Smith of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Doris Beck of Indiana and brothers-in-law, Howard Pennington of McMinnville and Alton Pennington of Nashville, TN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in High's Chapel with Ray Skyles officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
